DCBS opens admissions to its unique foreign university twinning undergraduate Bachelor in Management program
Daly College Business School (DCBS), Indore, a leader in management education in the country, is now admitting students to its Bachelor in Management program. The only undergraduate B School in the country to offer foreign university twinning degree approved by AICTE, DCBS has a rich legacy blending new-age learning experience. The collaboration with De Montfort University, UK enables the institution’s students to avail a unique opportunity: complete the first two years of the program in India, followed by a year of global exposure in Leciester UK.
But that’s just one of the many highlights of the program at DCBS, which is QAA UK certified. Since its inception in 1998, the B School has been dedicatedly producing graduates who can start their career on a high note or are well prepared to pursue higher studies at globally recognized institutions. In 19 years, the B School has produced 4 university toppers
DCBS also offers a work-based learning experience and world class exposure for students. Guest lecture sessions with leading corporate minds and other initiatives by the industry–institute interface cell further enrich the learning experience. A 12:1 Student–faculty ratio ensures professors focus on personalized mentoring and keep young management aspirants abreast with the latest and best in the field.
The vision of the college and the efforts of its team are backed by state-of-the-art infrastructure, which offers access to cutting-edge education resources, e-library, and virtual learning. DCBS also believes in all-round development of students. This is reflected in the excellent sports facilities and the emphasis on extracurricular activities. The course combines strong academic rigour with practical application and focuses on grooming personalities to create leaders for today’s dynamic business world.
In fact, this B School looks to create managers and leaders ready for global roles. The one-year training at Leicester Business School, DMU – a multicultural hub of learning – offers students an opportunity to study with some of the best minds from all over the world. Last year’s class topper Surabhi Aggarwal, who pursued a course at London School of Economics and further studies in Australia, agrees, “My final year at DMU broadened by horizon and offered me international exposure. It wouldn’t have been possible without the DCBS foundation.”
Exemption from TOEFL, SAT, IELTS, and modules on professional qualifications run by CIMA and ACCA (top chartered accountancy organizations) are further perks of the program for students interested in higher studies. Candidates with at least 60% in Class XII (CBSE, ISC, and CIE), 65 % in Class XII (state board), and 30 points (IB diploma) are eligible to apply for the program. Students who submit a statement of purpose followed by a personal interview are selected, who then are moulded into industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and game changers for the future.
