What is DCBS?
DCBS (Daly College
Business School), a premier Business School in Central India was
established in the year 1998 under the Aegis of Daly College, Indore. Daly

Which is the course
offered by DCBS?
DCBS offers B.A. (Hons)
Business Studies. This is a three year Degree course affiliated to the
DeMontfort University, Leicester U.K. The students complete their final
year at Leicester Business School; U.K. The course provides a solid
foundation in fundamental business concepts, idea, and practices and
offers specialization in Finance, Marketing and General Business. The
students get an exposure to the International Trends in Management and
Business Studies.
The course also offers an
optional placement year at UK for the students who would like to have a
work experience before getting the graduation degree.
What are the
facilities provided by DCBS?
Daly College provides
excellent learning Environment to its students. Situated in the heart of
city of Indore, DCBS has a lush green campus. It has state of the art
computing facilities with the internet and email access. The lab is
available to the students during the college time. In addition the
intranet/ e-blackboards are used to publish detailed lecture handouts to
enable students to access the material they have missed.
The school library house
thousands of books on management and general reading. DCBS subscribes to
all the leading management Journals and periodicals to support students
for research and referencing. DCBS also subscribes to the best e-libraries
of the world which boasts of the best & latest e-journals and IT
resources.
DCBS also has a girl’s
hostel in the campus which offers safe and caring accommodating facilities
to the girls during their stay at Indore.
Personal support is
provided to the students by personal mentoring. A unique feature of DCBS
is Students Advice Centre where the module tutors and the staff give
advice on academic and personal issues.
What are the teaching
methodologies at DCBS?
WE at DCBS understand
that Management Education can not be confined to classroom teaching alone.
The teaching methodology adapted by DCBS includes Case Studies, Live
Projects, and Real time Assignments etc. The aim is to relate the theory
provided in the class with real and practical Business Situations. The
ratio of internal marks to the external marks varies and in some cases the
Internal Marks may be as high as 100%.
What is the
eligibility Criteria for admission into DCBS?
The eligibility criteria
is very simple. All the students who have scored more than 60% marks in
the 12th exam is eligible. He/ She may belong to any stream.
What are the Admission
Procedures at DCBS?
To get admission to our
programme students have to clear a general aptitude test conducted in
house by us. The test has questions on Mathematical & verbal ability and
general Awareness. The test can be cleared easily by moderate preparation.
What are the career
options after the course?
The students after
completing the BA (BS) course can either pursue their post graduation or
may take up a job in India or Abroad. The students from the past Batch
have exercised both the options. Our students have taken up post graduate
