De Montfort University (DMU) is ranked Gold in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF), the only UK Government-endorsed measure of teaching quality in higher education.
DMU has achieved Gold, the highest ranking possible in the TEF assessment, indicating outstanding learning and teaching on offer at the university.
The TEF assessment cited DMU’s delivery of ‘consistently outstanding teaching, learning, and outcomes … of the highest quality found in the UK’.
97.3% of DMU graduates from summer 2017 are in work or further study after graduating, according to the latest available figures as published in the Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE) 2016-17 report; this is above the sector average of 94.6%. DMU was placed in the top 20 universities for Graduate Prospects in The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2020, a measure of how employable DMU students are on leaving university.
DMU was placed 50th in the world for sustainability in the first-ever Times Higher Education (THE) University Impact Rankings. [The rankings are designed to showcase work by universities worldwide to meet the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).] Further information (Times Higher)
